NEW NURSING GEAR

Hey all...

Danielle wanted to get some new nursing gear and i found a few things (sorry that it took so long Danielle, this last month has been crazy...lol). Anywayz, i found a website that will let us create our own gear. They have everything from clothing to pens, paper, bumperstickers, stuffed animals. We can put our design on just about anything and it is a very easy process. It would be great if some people could play around on it and come up with some ideas and pass them on. I also found a few websites with pre-made nursing stuff. These websites have some really cute things. I will post links to all of these websites. Please take a look, play with some ideas and pass them along so we can get some new stuff.

The best website i found for creating our own products: customink.com

Meet our new Treasurer!

Hi
My name is Lisa Newbold, I live in Elk Grove. I'm a widow; 2 children still at home, 3 married kids, and 8 grand kids with another on the way. I'm excited about being a nurse. I'm not sure what area I want to work, but I'm having fun learning all about it. My favorite thing is volunteering for the Haight Ashbury Free Clinic in San Francisco as a Rock Med volunteer. This year I've worked about 40 concerts.

Thanks Lisa for stepping in and sharing your energy and enthusiasm with SNA!!

Please email me if you have an item or issue that you would like to address at the coming meeting so we may add it to the agenda.

Recycled SN Scrubs

Would the SNA be interested in adding a uniform donation aspect to their program? Past nursing students or students that have have changed clothing sizes would be able to donate gently used scrubs to help out new or older financially needy students obtain free scrubs. It would help some of us clear our closets of perfectly good scubs which are no longer needed.
